The FAQs

  • Yes! I currently have openings in my practice as of February 2023. Reach out for a free phone or video consultation.

  • You can contact my office by phone or email and we can discuss what you hope to get out of therapy. We will set up our initial session and send you an email for you to complete your forms online.

During your first session we will start to get to know each other and how we can work together. Together we decide the best plan for you.

  • Yes, “what happens is session, stays in session!” However, if you would like your therapist to talk to someone, for example your physician, psychiatrist, etc, then you can sign a release for me to do so. There are also some exceptions to confidentiality. Please read the informed consent for more details or feel free to ask questions for clarification.

  • I work with women who are struggling with anxiety, PTSD and other trauma disorders, depression, stress, self-esteem and relationship problems. I also work with daughters of narcissists and daughters of alcoholics/addicts.

  • I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to help answer any questions you may have about counseling. Making a decision to go to counseling is not always an easy one and finding someone that is the right fit for you is really important. If we decide that we are not the right fit, I will be happy to make additional referrals for you.

  • A 15 minute telephone consultation is FREE! Please contact me to schedule

Individual sessions are 60 minutes and the fee is $200.

Most people begin with weekly sessions but I am very flexible with scheduling according to your needs.

  • I do not currently take insurance. Working without insurance increases your privacy and gives you control over your therapy process.

We are covered as an out of network provider on most PPO Insurance plans and happy to provide you a super-bill which you can then send to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully to verify specifics of your particular insurance coverage.
